Hangar 9Hangar 9 pilots are made from soft latex and come filled with fiberfill in order to maintain their shape. They are light and because they are not made from a stiff material, they have some movement to them, which adds to their realism.

Life Like Pilots Life Like offer a good selection of civilian pilots to fit 1/4 scale all the way up to 40%. They areself-supporting so need no fiberfill and take very little prep time.

Officers & Gentlemen Officers & Gentlemen pilots are made out of a plastic that is somewhat pliable in order to resist cracking. Because it holds its shape, it is not necessary to put fiberfill in it. However, if you often leave the plane in the hot sun for extended periods of time, you should consider using fiberfill as a precaution.
